BLUEBONNET CAMP For Next Year’s 3rd-4th-5th Grade – Oak Hill Eagles and Patton Pioneers and Mills Mountain Lions The camp will be taught by Oak Hill librarian, Stacey Underwood, and Mills librarian, Norma Stovalll. Spend a fun filled week with next year’s Texas Bluebonnet books through reading, exploring, creating & discussing the 2018-2019 Bluebonnet books. By the end of the week, campers will be qualified to vote for next year’s Bluebonnet Award and be well on their way to completing all 20 books!! Each session is limited to 20 participants to ensure low camper to teacher ratio. Information/activities are repeated in each session.Friends can come too if meet age requirement. Please indicate your 1st and 2nd choice out of sessions 1 and 2. If can’t attend one of the sessions, please indicate N/A. For more info and to register, please see this flyer. Hip-Hop for Kidz Summer Camp at OHE Are you looking for something fun to get your kids involved in for part of the summer break? Do your kids love music and dancing? Well, the Hip Hop Summer Dance Camp may be just what you are looking for. There are two sessions of dance camp the weeks of June 4-7 and June 11-14, which will run from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm. Sign up for one, or sign up for both if you like! Each session will have different routines and activities. All children ages 7-12 are invited to join and class will be limited to 20 students per session. We will do so many fun and exciting things during the week, such as practicing a dance routine to perform, playing many dance games, creating arts & crafts, even having a special dance party and lessons with a real DJ (each child will get to take a turn using the turntables, mixing, and being a DJ), and each child will also receive a Hip-Hop for Kidz t-shirt! Camp In this literacy camp, children will receive instruction through Really Great Reading’s Blast and HD Word Phonics programs. This hands-on multi-sensory and manipulative based program helps students build the necessary phonics and phonemic awareness skills to be successful learners. These programs are part of our first and second grade curriculum and are incorporated daily. This camp is ideal for K-2 students. When: Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am-12:00 pm at OHE
