OHE has several options for after-school care, some are on campus and some provide transportation to their facility from OHE. All of these services are separate from OHE and parents should contact these companies directly with any questions and/or registration.

Where can you find not only games and sports, but also time for art, reading and science?
Extend-A-Care for Kids provides an after-school child care on-site at your elementary school for the convenience of working parents. The program includes a variety of outdoor and indoor activities including supervised sports, field trips, creative arts, science projects, and time for reading and homework. Optional all-day care is provided for most student holidays including winter and spring breaks and summer. EAC programs are licensed by the State of Texas.
Parents pay child care fees on a sliding fee scale according to family income, which makes the program affordable for all families. Infant care is available at Austin High School, Blazier and Galindo Elementary and the EAC Business office. Hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
